Malaspina Naturalists Club | Richard Dewey - "Tides, Currents and Sailing the Coastal Waters of BC" | 6-7:30 pm | Dr. Richard Dewey is a researcher with Ocean Networks Canada, and interested in coastal and ocean flows, mixing processes, turbulence, waves, and tides. His talk will focus on how a better understanding of these processes can help you best plan, and navigate, the bays, inlets, passages, channels and basins of BC’s magnificent coast.

* Ioni Wais, via MNC | Mushroom Ecology Walk |  10 am | Location available via Malaspina Naturalists Club mailing list | Join us for an introductory mushroom walk in a beautiful urban park. We will be looking at a diversity of fungi, focusing on mushroom ecology and morphology. Please note, this is not a mushroom foray. Field guides provided. Rain or shine; dress for the weather.
